Yes. A single premade pouch packing machine can run various pouch sizes within its specified width and length parameters. Transitioning between pouch dimensions is quick and easy—operators simply adjust the bag gripper width via mechanical dials or automatic motor controls on the HMI.
To accurately configure the best rotary pouch packing system, please provide: bag dimensions (width & length) or film width, pouch type/shape (e.g., stand-up, zipper, 3-side seal), target fill weight or volume, packaging film material, product physical state (powder, granule, liquid, or solid), photos of your pouches and products, required output speed, and overall expected production goals.
Always perform safety checks before making mechanical adjustments: switch off the main electrical power, lock out pneumatic supply valves, and verify that system air pressure is at normal operating levels. Never attempt to adjust mechanical components, grippers, or stations while the equipment is operating.
Common causes for pouch feeding failures include blocked vacuum lines or clogged suction nozzle filters. Inspect and clean the vacuum system, replace worn or hardened silicone suction cups, and realign the bag magazine height. If static electricity causes pouches to cling together, installing an ion bar static eliminator will resolve the issue.
Check the alignment and vacuum pressure of both top and bottom suction cups and recalibrate their opening stroke distance. Adding an air-flush/air-blow nozzle at the opening station helps inflate and separate the pouch walls. Additionally, inspect stored preformed bags to ensure they haven't stuck together due to heat or humidity.
